About Drone Ecosystem

Elevating Collaboration

Our mission

“We believe Innovative Air Mobility should be accessible and affordable for every organization to become smarter, safer or greener through the use of drones”

Pioneering the way forward, Flying Forward foresees a world where the skies are a seamless network of integrated services which help ease repetitive and dangerous jobs. To achieve this, we unite the European drone and IAM industry to create and integrate drone applications.

Who are we?

Originating from the FF2020 Urban Air Mobility demonstration project, Drone Ecosystem is guided by collaborative development, technology excellence and commitment to customer intimacy. We aim to connect and collaborate so we can elevate the Innovative Air Mobility industry.

What do we do?

We aim to establish the largest European drone and Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) network. Establishing partnerships and projects which help the development and integration of large scale drone and IAM applications through knowledge sharing and collaborations.

Why does it matter?

We believe drone innovations enable a brighter future. Through the power of connection and technology we have the ability to transform the skies so our lives become smarter, safer and greener.

Our core values

Drone Ecosystem origin story

Flying Forward Drone Ecosystem originates from the collaborative three-year research and innovation project: FF2020. The goal of this Horizon Europe project was to develop a comprehensiven entire state-of-the-art Urban Air Mobility (UAM) infrastructure, and incorporate this new form of mobility within the geospatial digital infrastructure of multiple cities. Ultimately, leaving a positive and lasting impact on the quality of life of European citizens and to create sustainable partnerships and cities, even after the FF2020 project ends.

As FF2020 project coordinator, Brainport Development reached out with the request to build a digital platform which connects and informs the European drone industry. The platform was meant to help its members discover opportunities, make meaningful connections, and gain insights which can help them succeed within the industry.

It all began with a simple idea: to make navigating the world of drones and Innovative Air Mobility easier for everyone, building an environment which can help people discover new possibilities and connect with industry stakeholders. That’s how the idea for the Drone Ecosystem Toolkit was born.

To turn the original vision into reality, we talked to experts, researched the latest trends, and listened to what potential users had to say. And little by little, the Toolkit started to take shape. With the creation of the Drone Ecosystem platform we aim to ease and accelerate the process of exploring Innovative Air Mobility opportunities by building easy-to-use tools which are accessible and affordable for all industry stakeholders.

Now, Drone Ecosystem is here for you to explore. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to take your journey in the drone and Innovative Air Mobility industry to the next level. From curated insights to helpful resources, the Toolkit is designed to be your go-to guide every step of the way. The tools help you access, share and participate in a thriving drone community.

So, go ahead, explore Drone Ecosystem, and see where it takes you…
